The Joseph Maley Foundation is hosting its annual Fall Celebration on Friday, October 21, 2016 to celebrate our accomplishments “serving children of all abilities.” The afternoon will consist of highlights from the year, recognition of our supporters and volunteers, opportunities to interact with the seven JMF programs, and a bookstore to purchase curriculum books. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the event.
The JMFallCelebration will take place at the historic Caleb Mills Hall at Shortridge High School with registration beginning at 11:30 AM and the presentation following promptly at noon. During the presentation, three JMF programs will be highlighted: HOPE, JMFitness, and Junior Board. Recognition of distinguished awards recipients in service, volunteerism, and corporate collaboration will be addressed during the presentation. The Crystal Butterfly Award will be honored at this time, and is the highest honor bestowed annually upon the individual who embodies the spirit of JMF.
Following the presentation, each of the programs will be showcased in classrooms throughout the school, allowing attendees to learn more about each program and to interact with program staff, board members, and speakers. A bookstore will also be open during this time to purchase books read throughout the JMF curriculum.
